of Southwest Hills supports:  Doernbecher Hospital Kiwanis Unit in Oregon and Southwest Washington, Kiwanis Clubs have collaborated with Doernbecher for over 20 years to treat children with cancer. This partnership would not be possible without the tireless dedication and commitment of hundreds of Kiwanians who spend countless hours in the community selling raffle tickets and organizing events, all for the children at Doernbecher. Neighborhood House brings neighbors together to feed the hungry, house the homeless, and educate young and old. We strengthen community by providing resources to support self-reliance, economic independence and dignity in people of all ages and backgrounds. Southwest Community Health Center is a safety-net clinic providing basic health care services to low-income uninsured individuals serving S.W. Portland and the surrounding area.

| of Southwest Hills supports:  The Mt. Hood Kiwanis Camp provides excellence in outdoor experiences to individuals with disabilities, educational opportunities for students pursuing human service careers and facilitates personal growth and inclusion of all participants. Loaves & Fishes Centers is a nonprofit, secular organization that provides hot, nutritious meals to seniors 60 years and older. Hot noon meals are delivered by volunteers each weekday to homebound seniors. Loaves & Fishes Centers also serves a noon lunch to more active seniors at 35 meal centers throughout Multnomah, Washington and Clark counties. Ronald McDonald House Charities of Oregon and Southwest Washington provides a “home away from home” for families and their seriously ill children who travel far to receive treatment at Portland hospitals, and awards grants to non-profit organizations that offer children’s immunizations and dental care. |
